The Secret Circus
Has Left the Building
The term law of attraction can instantly invoke
ideas of Godless, money grubbing pitchmen.
Cash for the sake of cash.
Many in the media have implied nothing less while tripping over their own seven figure
paychecks just to get the next interview with the next guru.
This Universal law has been cleverly packaged and
presented by "experts" like barkers at a sideshow.

(See what all the fuss is about.)
The idea of like attracting like went on
well before the carnival began...
And it will continue to be scientifically studied
(Quantum Physics)
well after the tents come down.
And now?
They left us with the keys to the kingdom
and the Porsche, but without much explanation
for pesky things like Hitler, Darfur and God.
Empty calories for the spiritually starved.
Oprah's follow-up show to The Secret
plainly illustrated that we're sick of being served
Big Macs and Ring Dings under the guise
of Godly nutrition.
The Practice of Attraction
joins the spiritual
and material.
Personal accountability, service to others in
conjunction with divine entitlements.
Consider it karma with a paint job and new rims.
So are people successful because of positive
thinking and is positive thinking the same thing
as the law of attraction?
The evidence indicates that whatever
captures your highest attention will readily
come to pass - good, bad or indifferent.
Is it lack?
Worry?
Fear?
Maybe it's romance?
Peace of mind?
Money?
Let's have it all but only
in the light of Truth and gratitude
and never at the expense of conscience.
I'm not a barker at a sideshow and the law of
attraction isn't some parlor trick the Universe
parades out now and again to amuse its minions.
The law of attraction is God
given, and is but one of the many
spiritual tools we'll examine.
Why am I qualified to make such statements?
Why would I not be?
